Bursaries for international congresses

The GFPP awards several scholarships per year (500€ each) to young researchers (PhD or Post-docs) to enable them to present their work in international congresses (European Peptide Society, American Peptide Society). The bursary is intended to cover part of the transport and accommodation costs. The fees must be incurred by the person making the request and will be reimbursed upon return upon presentation of invoices.

The attendance of the supervisor to the congress is not mandatory but desirable. In addition, we will prioritize PhD students in 2nd and 3rd year over PhD students in 1st year.

To be considered for an international congress grant, please submit your application to this email before the oral abstract submission deadline of the concerned congress.

The following documents are needed for grant application:

– a CV

– a cover letter

– a recommendation letter from the scientific supervisor

– the submitted abstract * and the attestation of the submission

– attestation of grant submission when applicable (for example EPS grants)

Once the notification of the congress scientific committee (acceptance or not) have been received, please forward it to this email. The final decision of the GFPP board will be sent by email to the applicants within 15 days after the reception of this notification.

*: both oral and poster abstracts will be considered, but a priority will be given to accepted oral communications.
